On the 5th of February 2013, the King Prajadhipok?s
Institute welcomed Professor Miguel Jerez Mir, director of the Department of
Political Science and Public Administration at the University of Granada, Spain
to give a special talk on ?An Overview on Government in Contemporary Spain.?
More than 20 Participants from academic and government offices joined the talk.
Their discussion concentrated on not only Spanish politics but also comparative
perspectives regarding democratic development in Thailand and Spain.
King Prajadhipok's Institute was pleased to help host the
American Council of Young Political Leaders? visit to Thailand in December
2012. The ACYPL
was founded in 1966 with the aim of giving young aspiring political leaders the
opportunity to meet their counterparts in other countries in order to share
ideas, get to know one-another, and broaden their world-views. To this end,
ACYPL organizes visits and exchanges around the world.

Humanitarian situation between Thai-Burmese border and future
democracy in Burma.
