 Politics and Governance in Democratic Systems for Executives Course (Class 14) began on Monday, May 31, 2010 hosted by the College of Politics and Governance at Prajadhipok Room, King Prajadhipok’s Institute, Government Complex. Parliament President Chai Chidchob presided over the opening of the course, making the opening address.
 
 
 
Prof. Dr. Borwornsak Uwanno, Secretary General of King Prajadhipok’s Institute (KPI), made the welcoming remarks and a speech on the background of His Majesty King Prajadhipok, who passed his sovereignty to the Thai People through Thailand’s first constitution for the benefit of Thai citizens.
Prof. Dr. Chaiwat Khamchoo, Director of College of Politics and Governance, presented an overview of the course, explaining that the objective is to guide the leaders, academics and experts in Thai society to develop Thai politics in a democratic regime for sustainable peace.
The course has 140 participants including 21 members of the House of Representatives, 12 senators, and 106 high-ranking officials public sector officials. Politics and Governance in Democratic Systems for Executives Course runs for 9 months, from June 2010 to February 2011.
